FAQs

Kingston Park and Leisure Homes - Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between buying from Kingston and other manufacturers?

Buying Kingston is like buying a traditionally built home. Unlike other manufacturers we avoid the use of unsightly jointing sections, plastic skirting and wallpaper.

All of our homes feature flat emulsion painted walls with painted MDF skirting, allowing you to repair any damage easily or repaint if you fancy a colour change.

Our key products are sourced through recognised high street brands with nationwide support networks.

Our open-door policy for factory visits during manufacture means that you can see the things that you can’t when complete, but ensures that you have a home that is built to the high standards promised, is thermally efficient, will be habitable and will last a lifetime.

Can you help us locate a park for our new Kingston lodge?

Yes. We have a network of the UK’s best parks with whom we have trusted relationships. We look for partners where the vision of the park owner is in line with Kingston and we can recommend to you with the confidence that you will be happy for years to come. What’s included as standard with a Kingston lodge?

In short, almost everything you’ll need to start enjoying your new lodge straight away. Kitchen appliances, white goods and furniture all come as standard in one of the most generous ‘as standard’ packages available on the market today.

Can I change the interior design of my Kingston lodge?

The simple answer is yes! Our unique customisation framework provides our clients with different options on almost every item from paint to kitchens to bathroom which means that your home is designed and built especially for you. However, if you’d like to provide your own furniture and furnishings, we can do that too! Our ethos at Kingston is getting the lodge exactly as the client dreams it would be.

Can I change the exterior cladding of my lodge?

Yes, we have a number of exterior cladding options with our customisation framework including CanExel and Therrawood. Both are available in a number of colours and styles meaning you can choose something that really suits you.

How long does it take to build and deliver a Kingston lodge?

As soon as you sign off the final specification of your new lodge, we will provide a guaranteed delivery date so you know exactly when your new lodge will be arriving. On average this takes 10-12 weeks but thanks to our flexibility and service level we will do our best to meet your requirements.

How much does a Kingston lodge cost?

The vast majority of lodges and park homes we supply are bought on a either a residential or holiday park. This ‘on park’ price will vary based on a number of factors including location, park facilities and cost of the land. Location of the park will be the biggest factor. We will negotiate with the park to ensure the best value for all of our clients. To read more on this subject take a look at our complete guide to buying on a park here.
